The Role
An opportunity to join one of Ireland’s most impactful healthcare organisations as a Business Analyst specialising in Data Analytics. The role is focused on bridging clinical, operational, and data functions to deliver insights that directly enhance patient care and organisational performance. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to analyse workflows, define analytical requirements, and design high-quality dashboards and reporting solutions.
Key Focus
Gather and document business, operational, and clinical requirements for analytics initiatives
Design and develop insightful dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
Translate data into clear narratives that drive clinical and operational decision-making
Collaborate with stakeholders across clinical and support functions to define priorities and align objectives
Support end users through training, documentation, and ongoing advocacy for analytics adoption
Maintain strong governance and data quality standards across reporting workflows
Requirements
Degree or post-graduate qualification in ICT, eHealth, Computer Science, or a related discipline
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Business Analyst or Analytics role, ideally within healthcare or life sciences
Strong data visualisation and storytelling skills with proven dashboard development experience
Excellent understanding of healthcare workflows, processes, and terminology
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with a proactive, collaborative mindset
Experience training or supporting end users and driving adoption of analytics tools
Desirable Experience
Exposure to digital health or eHealth systems
Background in Nursing, Pharmacy, or other Health and Social Care disciplines
Familiarity with data governance and healthcare regulatory frameworks
